Featuring a standard 5% PSI tolerance and dual male spade-style terminals for secure wiring connections, this switch utilizes 12-volt ignition power to signal a required SPDT 30/40-amp Model 340 relay, automating your compressor's operation. For critical system protection, it is highly recommended to pair this switch with a safety relief valve on the air tank; in the event of a pressure switch failure, the safety valve will blast off to release excess air, serving as an audible alert to immediately cut power to the compressor to prevent it from burning out before replacing the switch.
