The stabilizer shock mount portion of the bracket gives you a dramatically raised, easy bolt-up anchor point for a JL/JT spec. steering stabilizer shock (allows for more steering radius), that sets the shock at a considerably higher position than stock, to correct its geometery and protect it from rocks!
