Designed, engineered, tested, and assembled in Colorado, SPC Performance adjustable upper control arms are loaded with features. Improve suspension travel, handling, and tire wear while centering the tire in the wheel well for maximum clearance needed for oversized tires. Now equipped with maintenance-free ball joints and free-pivoting xAxis™ sealed flex joints in bonded rubber sleeves, for correction of alignment angles and restoration of factory ride quality. A Forged steel design provides the strength and durability needed for the most demanding environments. SPC adjustable control arms have improved clearance to get around the spring bucket and a full 80° of articulation in the ball joint. When trucks are lifted, caster and camber angles are affected that can lead to poor handling characteristics such as ‘wandering’. SPC control arms have positive caster built-in for lifted vehicles to restore alignment angles and drivability. The patented ball joint design allows the tire to be positioned correctly in the wheel well and additional adjustment in the OE lower arms can maximize placement for oversized tires to avoid fender trimming. If replacement lower adjustment cams are needed, see part #86250 or #86252. Sold as pairs. US Patent No. 7,513,514.

Caster dialed in perfectly after a lift

Lifted three inches and alignment was a mess until these SPC upper control arms went on — getting caster back to spec was actually possible for the first time. Solid build, adjusters move smoothly, and the ball joints feel noticeably tighter than factory.

tight fitment, real adjustment range

Fit the F-150 frame mounts without any persuasion and the adjustment slots gave the alignment tech actual room to work with. Ball joints felt premium compared to the OEM units and the arms have a nice beefy look under the truck.

Lifted F-150 handles like stock again

After a suspension lift my front end tracked terribly and ate tires on the inside edge — bolted these on and a proper alignment brought caster right back into the OEM window. The extended adjustment range is exactly what you need when you're running more than a couple inches of lift.

great arms, allow extra alignment time

The adjustability range on these SPC arms is impressive and build quality feels solid — no slop in the ball joint, hardware is beefy. Only reason for four stars is the alignment shop needed a bit of time to figure out the adjustment sequence, so budget extra time on the rack.

no more inner tire wear

Ran through a set of tires in 18k miles because my lifted F-150 couldn't get caster corrected — put these SPC arms on, got a fresh alignment, and the wear pattern is finally even. The ball joints feel tight and I'm not seeing any movement even on rough roads.

SPC quality shows in the details

Packaging was clean and every bolt was accounted for — the adjusters turn without fighting and the ball joint boots look like they'll hold up long-term. With these on, my lifted truck finally has enough caster adjustment to actually get a proper alignment.

handles a 3.5-inch lift without drama

Ran my F-150 with a leveling kit for two years eating tires because I couldn't correct caster — these UCAs fixed it in a single alignment visit. The extended ball joint and adjustment range are clearly engineered for exactly this scenario.

Finally got my alignment numbers right

Shop tried twice to dial in caster after my leveling kit and kept hitting the limit of adjustment — these UCAs opened up enough range to hit factory spec dead-on. Truck tracks straight and the tire wear has already improved after just a few thousand miles.

Worth it for the caster adjustment alone

Getting caster back after a lift was the whole point and these delivered — the adjustment range is wide enough that the shop had no trouble hitting factory spec. Everything torqued up cleanly and the truck feels like it did before the suspension went up.

exactly what a suspension lift requires

The factory UCAs simply don't give you enough caster range when the front end goes up — these SPC arms opened up the adjustment I needed to get back to proper geometry. Install was straightforward for someone comfortable with front suspension work.

Really Ideal Fit

Fitment was spot on. Looks and feels premium. Holds up great so far. Setup took no time. No issues whatsoever. No regrets at all.

V

solid arms, tight ball joints

Build quality is good and the caster adjustment range is generous — more than enough to correct for a moderate lift. Four stars only because one of the adjustment bolts was a bit stiff out of the box, though a little anti-seize sorted it before install.

Alignment shop approved

My alignment tech specifically said these made his job easy — he had full range to work with and got everything into spec on the first pass. Truck drives straight, no pull, and the ball joints have no perceptible slop after several months of daily driving.
